My heart will marry the darkness

Literature Text

A dainty breeze brushes my cheek
Fingertips trembling at the keys
To be on my own facing the world
Swimming in the deepest of seas

Music flows, drenching my being
Pulling my heart down like an anvil.
It's heavy, almost unable to carry;
Hard to tackle this losing battle.

Every attempt to move the anvil;
Leaves a trickle of beads of sweat;
Makes my hands rough and callused;
A single try moves me back a step.

Till the weight exerts even more on me
It's almost painful to hold, to carry.
Soon my heart lets go and tumbles down...
Down to the darkness that it will marry.
Not really about anything but is everything.

Good skill in traditional forms. Let me see a few more, and I'll invite.
